Michael passed away on September 12, 2023 at the age of 81. He was born on October 27, 1941 to the late Marion and Doris Chesney in Bay City, Michigan.  He enjoyed many things especially time with his wife, kids, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends. He had many special friends including, Don Krysiak who he enjoyed flying with. He also loved dairy queen trips, rides anywhere, carving and viewing antique cars.

He is survived by wife Beatrice (Filary); children, Kimberly (Robert) Champine, Michael (Cecilia) Chesney, and Scott (Yvonne) Chesney; grandchildren, Andrew (Molly) Champine, Kellie (Kris) Mosher, Tiffany Chesney, Mary Chesney, and Jacob Chesney; great-grandchildren, Seth Champine and Brooklynn and Connor Mosher; brother, James (Marge) Chesney; sister-in-law, Jo Bown; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved. He was predeceased by a cherished grandson, Trenton Chesney; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond (Emily), Ralph (Jean), Don (Pat) Filary and Ken Bown.  A private celebration of life will be held at a later time with immediate family.

He is sadly missed and forever in our hearts. A special thank you to Bay McLaren 6th floor East, Drs. Raza, Gomes, Adhikari, Masri, Schisler; and Nurse Practitioner, Sue Hafer; the Toni and Trish house and staff; and many others for their care and compassion over the years.
