Obituary of Malinda Lee Murphy

MaLinda Lee Murphy (Mindy Lusk) age 42, born November 2, 1980, of Auburn, Michigan, joined her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven on September 14, 2023.  Mindy’s hometown was Coleman, MI.  She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and mother to daughter Breann Murphy.

Mindy had a generous spirit and a kind heart.  She was known for her fun-loving nature and her beautiful smile, accentuated by her fabulous eyelashes.  Mindy had a passion for life and enjoyed spending time with her family.  She had a love for garage sales, shopping, decorating for Christmas, purses, and makeup.  Mindy was also an animal lover, always showing compassion for furry friends. 

Professionally, Mindy served as the Optical Manager at Costco in Midland, MI.  She took pride in her work and the staff in her department.  She spoke highly of Costco employees and was dedicated to providing excellent service to her customers. 

A celebration of life service will be held at Cedar River Chapel, 2766 River Road, Beaverton, MI on October 21, 2023 at 11:00am until 12:00pm.  Following the service, there will be a lunch provided for attendees.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the local animal shelter, as Mindy had a deep love and concern for animals. 

Mindy Murphy is survived by her daughter Breann Murphy, parents Terry and Sandra Lusk, siblings Troy (Wendy) Lusk, Terry (Tonya) Lusk, Stuart (Tiffany) Lusk, as well as several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  She will be missed by all and we treasure her memory, it will forever be in our hearts.  We love you Mindy.  We will all meet again.  John 3:16
