Obituary of Derek Paul Reeves

Passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 55 surrounded by his family.  He was born on August 17, 1968, in Garden City, Michigan, to the late Jere and Joe Ann Reeves.  He was a member of Iron Workers Local 25 and ABATE of Michigan.  He was a semi-truck driver for many years.  He enjoyed motorcycles, boating, snowmobiling, ATVs, and NASCAR. 

He is survived by 5 siblings, Debbie Batiste (Denny, friend), Dawne (Carl) McGinnis, Darren Reeves, David Reeves, and Dana (Bob) Clark.    He was predeceased by his brother Doug (Kathy) Reeves.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place.  The family will receive friends at a Life Celebration on October 14, 2023, starting at 1:00 pm at 1585 S. Reese Road, Reese, MI.  Please bring a dish to pass.
