Angela passed away October 1, 2023 at the age of 58, in the comfort of her own home. She was born on September 15, 1965 to the late Edward Butch Niemeyer and Ruth Ann (Huff) Brown, in Saginaw, Michigan.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and daughters, spoiling her dog “Bella”, and going on road trips to the beach with her family. In the summer she loved being outdoors in the heat and sunshine. Angie enjoyed watching NASCAR and going to the race tracks around Michigan. She also enjoyed going shopping and making sure that the grandkids were always spoiled, and playing Yahtzee with family and friends. When it came to cooking, she knew her way around a kitchen. When she had down time, she enjoyed watching her favorite television shows.
Angie was active, walking in Making Strides of Great Lakes Bay, since being diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She always made sure she, her daughters and grandchildren, were there to support he cause.
She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Lisa (Brian) Smith, Jennifer (Lamont Ezell) Doughty, and Melissa (Jr) Hill; step-daughters, Alicia (Shane) Braughton and Rikki Averill; grandchildren, Anthony Ramirez, Conner Smith, Allen Smith, Veronica Smith, Jennah Doughty, Anastasia Ezell, Ricky Ezell, Aaliyah Chappins, Arianna Chappins, Brooklynn Hill, RyLee Hill, Shane Braughton ll, Brayden Braughton, and Mariah Averill; brothers, Troy (Amy) Huff, and Dale (Nikki) Huff; sister, Carrie (Tom) Kida; step-brother, Kirk Pagel; many nieces and nephews; and her step-father, Lloyd Huff. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Doughty; parents, Butch Niemeyer and Ruth Ann Huff; brother, William “Bill” Huff; uncle, Jim Brown; and grandson, David Averill.
Cremation has taken place, and a service will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, October 20, 2023, at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, Michigan.
