Helen Novak, age 86, passed away October 11, 2023. She was born May 15, 1937 in Pickford, Michigan. She was predeceased by parents Ervin and Priscilla. Husband Gordon Also sister Eileen, and brother Malcolm. Surviving are her children, Jackie (Tim) Malkin, Sharon (Pat) Phelps, Gerald (Julie) Novak and Elizabeth Novak; sister, Josephine Hollenbeck; grandchildren, Kelly (Seth) McGinnis, Jeremy Novak and Gordon (Amy) Novak. Helen was an avid quilter, a runner, and bicyclist. She retired from the Lansing State Journal.
