Obituary of Patricia Shannon Ciaciuch

Patricia Shannon (Casey/Metiva/Lebutzki) Ciaciuch, age 80, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully in Midland, Michigan on October 12, 2023.
Patricia was born in Bay City, Michigan on November 4,1942, to Robert F. and Myrtle Rose (Niemann) Casey. She graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic School in Saginaw, Michigan in 1960. Pat married Lawrence C. Metiva in Zilwaukee in 1962. They moved to Laporte, Michigan in 1970 with their four children to farm and raise cattle. In addition to raising her family and helping on the farm, Pat also worked at JCPenney and the Antiques Warehouse in Saginaw and the Village Green in Midland. She was an avid reader and loved hunting for antiques. She became an antiques dealer, appraiser, and proprietor of antique shops throughout the Upper Peninsula. Pat enjoyed doing antique shows, estate sales and the beauty of the U.P. with her beloved second husband, Ted Lebutzki. She was a kind and caring mother who loved time with her children, grandchildren and their dogs.
Pat is survived by her first husband, Lawrence Metiva; her children, Maureen Metiva of Laporte, Tricia Metiva of Laporte, Michael (Katherine) Metiva, and Toby (Kari) Metiva of Midland. She also leaves her grandchildren, Adam Gordert, Emilie (Matt) Schroeder, Taylor (Drew) McDougall, Michael (Celia) Metiva, Zachary Metiva, and Evan Metiva; and her great-grandchildren, Lucas Schroeder and Aubrey McDougall. Pat is also survived by her dear lifelong friends, Judith Metiva and Dolores Brown. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Ted Lebutzki; her third husband, Tony Ciaciuch; and her sister, Susan Casey.
A celebration of life for Pat will be held at Ingersoll Township Hall, 3026 S. Sasse Rd., Freeland, MI on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
