Obituary of Randy Earl Cook

Randy Earl Cook, age 65 of Freeland, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on October 13, 2023. Randy was born on March 4, 1958 and was raised by the late Clarence and Nellie Cook. He is married to Christine Cook and they celebrated their 39^th year of marriage this year. Both Randy and Chris were members of the Wheeler Road Church of Christ and believed in living their life through the eyes of God.

He is survived by his wife, Christine (Matthews); daughters, Jennifer and Hannah (Matthew Barcia); and sister, Judy Benson. Randy was all about family and enjoyed quality time with his five grandchildren: Jocelyn, Rosalie, Logan, Gregory and Calvin.

Not only did Randy have a love for classic cars, but he was also a member of the Sports Car Club of America and would race his 90’s mustang. Randy also had a talent for wood carving and perfected the art of Santa carving.

A special thanks goes to Ashley with the palliative care team and Jackie with the hospice team for their care and support.

In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation.
