Obituary of Edward Leon Gross

Edward L. Gross of Riverdale, Michigan, passed away peacefully at a Hospice Facility on October 16, 2023 after battling cancer.  Ed was born in Saginaw, Michigan in 1947, and married Kathleen Wizner in 1966.  Ed was a loving husband and wonderful father who was devoted to his sons and family.  He started working at the Saginaw Parts Plant and eventually in 2001, retired from Plant 2 in Saginaw after 30 years with General Motors and Delphi.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Kathleen Gross; his three sons, Scott M. Gross (Kimberly McCauley), Brian E. Gross, and John H. Gross; his brother, Robert Gross and Janet Geary of Midland; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents, Howard H. Gross and Lena Isabelle Leiner, along with 9 brothers and sisters.
