Obituary of Marsha Nina Layne

Marsha N. Layne (Alcock), age 80, of Saginaw Michigan, passed away on October 21, 2023 at home with family. She was born in Saginaw, Michigan on December 22, 1942, to George and Evelyn Alcock. Marsha’s greatest strength was her faith in Jesus. She always enjoyed spending time with family, grandchildren, and friends. Marsha enjoyed her flower gardens and most anything outdoors, including snow skiing, fishing, kayaking, tubing, motorcycle trips and road trips, visiting family and discovering new places.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, David Layne; daughter, Dawn McCallum; son, Wayne McCallum (Vickie); daughter, Julie Lopez (Carlos); son-in-law, Andy Kelly; grandchildren, Shane McCallum (Emelia), Tatum McCallum, Christopher Kelly, Jason Kelly (Katherine), Kit, Chloe, Lily, August, Truth, and Felicity Young, Tori Scott, Jessica Brewer (Sam); great-grandchildren, Kayden and Lathyn Scott; brother, Tim Alcock; sisters, Barbra Wood and Lyn Henderson (Larry); and many nephews, nieces, and friends. Marsha was preceded in death by sons, Douglas McCallum and Todd McCallum; daughter, Jill Kelly; and siblings, Sharon Freeman, George Alcock, and Georgia Alderton.
