Cindy Sue Haswell (Lauria), age 57, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 1, 2023, after a battle with brain cancer. She was born on October 14,1966, to the late Benjamin and Marcia (Holland) Lauria Jr. in Clio, Michigan. She spent her childhood in Crump, Michigan and graduated from Pinconning High School. She worked as a CNA for over 30 years at various care facilities, and recently spent her retirement working at a bakery. She enjoyed camping, going on vacation, garage sales, crafting, bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her late husband of 11 years, Dana Haswell II. She is survived by her children, Jennifer (Josh Beauchamp) Thurlow, Lateacha (Todd) Arnold, Tiamo (Emily) Thurlow, Anthony Haswell, Kymberly Haswell, Dana Haswell III, Bethannie (Andy) Schoenherr, David (Nicole) Laney, and Curtis (Britney Thayer) Laney; her beloved dog, Nathan Alan; her significant other of 15 years, Steven Laney; her 20 grandchildren, Jeffery (Christie), Matthew, Lyndsay, Alex, Maddelynn, Gabe, Brayden, Alivia, Kessler, Isabelle, Grant, Addyson, Axel, Brayson, Austin, Kerrigan, Dillon, Asher, Liam, and Bennett; brothers, Benjamin Lauria III and Gerald (Lisa) Lauria; sisters, Lisa (Doug) Jammer and Tina (Dan) Vermeesch; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cindy’s family would like to extend a very special Thank You to the nursing staff of ProMedica Hospice, especially Sam Asel RN.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday November 11, 2023, at Larkin Township Hall 3022 N Jefferson Rd, Midland, MI 48642. The family will be accepting friends and family from 12 - 4 pm with a luncheon served at 1 pm.
