Obituary of Richard Paul Weber

Richard “Dick” Weber of Saginaw, Michigan (formerly of Chesaning, MI) was peacefully called to the Lord in the comfort of his home surrounded by loved ones on November 29, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on September 8, 1942, in Tecumseh, Michigan, the second of four children to the late Paul and Jennie (Nedry) Weber. He graduated from Chesaning High School in 1960, and married Sharon (Wesley) Weber, June 11, 1960, in Oakley, Michigan.
His wife of 63 years survives him along with, five children and their spouses, Robin (James) Cobb of Houston, TX, Penny (Bill) Bailey of Freeland, MI, Christopher (Krystal) Weber of Beaverton, MI, Tracey (Tonya) Weber of Brighton, MI, and Amber (Jeff) Reed of Breckenridge, MI; fourteen grandchildren, Jessica, Kelsey, Joe, Mike, Ryan, Danielle, Nick, Abby, Wesley, Hunter, Taylor, Aubrey, Haylee, Trevor, and Thomas; eight great-grandchildren, Christopher, Benjamin, Nina, Lily, Bennett, Jovee, Viana, and Hudson. Dick was also survived by his two sisters, Sharon Flory of Chesaning, MI and Judy (Les) Thomas of lake Okeechobee, Fl. He was predeceased by a sister Virginia Weber.
Dick retired after thirty years from General Motors Parts Plant in Bay City, Michigan as an engineer. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Dick enjoyed many hobbies, fishing, carving, woodworking, traveling, casino outings. With his many joys in life, Dicks family meant the absolute world to him. Over the years, great memories were made on family vacations. He will be missed dearly by all and his memory will be cherished forever.
Honoring Dicks wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
