Obituary of Glenda Fay Cairns

Glenda Fay Cairns went to be with the Lord in her home on the evening of December 07, 2023 at the age of 80. She was born on in Owosso Michigan on June 19, 1943 to the late Glenn Hammond and Geraldine Garey. Glenda dedicated over 40 years to serving patients at Sparrow Hospital through her role as Food Service Supervisor. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling and shopping.  Glenda was an active member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.

 She is survived by her sisters, Joyce (Bennett) Tibbs of Dallas, Texas and Diane Kellogg of Fort Myers, Florida; nieces Shelly (David) Cleeves and Pam (Jeff) Gilmour; nephew, Robert (Diane) Beasley; ten great-nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends who loved her.  She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Amy; sister, Gloria Beasley; niece, Debbie Busby; and nephew Bobby Tibbs.  A Thank You to Heart to Heart Hospice for the exceptional care provided to Glenda in her last months.
