Obituary of Sharon Jeanne Mothersbaugh

Sharon Mothersbaugh our loving mother, wife, nana, daughter and sister passed away at home with her family on December 17, 2023.

Sharon came into this world on October 16, 1944 in Prescott, MI to Peter & Margaret (Hull) Currie.  She attended Whittemore Prescott High School where she graduated in 1962.  She then went on to cosmetology school and worked at Chic Hairstyling in Midland, MI   She married her high school sweetheart David Provoast in August of 1964.  In 1967 they had their only daughter Tamra while residing in Midland.  In 1974 they moved back to Prescott where they happily made their home until 1995 where, after 31 years of marriage, David passed away from Cancer. 

In 2000 she married Frank Mothersbaugh where they resided in Port Austin, MI until the Lord took her to her eternal home to be with him in heaven.

Sharon loved her home where she enjoyed decorating, crafting and sitting on her front porch. She spent many hours laughing and line dancing with the Port Austin Stompers. Sharon loved her family most of all but above everyone, loved her Lord, Jesus Christ.  Her church family at Calvary Baptist Church was an important part of her life. 

Sharon is survived by her husband of 23 years Frank Mothersbaugh, her daughter and son in law Tami (Greg) Dion of Crossville, TN, Grandson Justin (Caitlin) Walls of Clare, MI, Granddaughter Jessica Walls & Fiancé Joseph Russo of Naples, FL , 3 great grandchildren, Sister in Law Marlene Currie of Midland, MI and Sister in Law and Brother in Law Nancy & Pete Tybinka of South Lyon Michigan along with several nieces and nephews.  She was pre deceased by her mother and father Peter & Margaret Currie, Sister Joann Clayton & her husband Robert Clayton as well as her brother Ronald Currie.
