In Loving Memory of Bonnie Carter (Schneider)

Bonnie Carter (Schneider) peacefully passed away on December 21, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 31, 1946, to proud parents, the Late Lawrence (Tuff) and Martha Jean Schneider.  Bonnie lived a life of dedication, love, and joy. She married her beloved Lyle Carter, sharing 58 years of a beautiful and enduring partnership.

Her legacy resonates through her devoted children, Scott (Audrey) Carter and Judy Carter.   Her grandchildren: Maeona Carter (Derek), Benjamin (Amy) Carter, Korrin Carter (Kevin), Kyle (Hanna) Smith, Jordan (Kellie) Carter, and Breanne Smith (Dominic). Her great-grandchildren Oona, Landen, Emmett, Declan, Aidan, Kalan, Violet, and Paisley.  She found joy and comfort in the company of her brothers, Larry (Dorothy) Schneider and Mark (Carrie) Schneider, and cherished the bonds of family and friendship.

Bonnie cherished her role as a nurturing presence, exemplified by her love for singing in the choir, her skillful play at poker and card games, and her enthusiasm for outings to the casino, where she found joy in the thrill of chance and camaraderie.

Her active involvement in the Comins Eagles Aerie, holding various esteemed positions, showcased her dedication to community service and her warm-hearted nature, touching the lives of many and leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.

A memorial honoring and celebrating Bonnie's remarkable life will take place at the Comins Eagles Aerie on January 7, 2024 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. celebrating the laughter, love, and cherished memories she shared with us all.

Bonnie's presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to shine brightly through the hearts and lives she touched. May she rest in peace.
