Obituary of Betty Jean Karn

Betty Jean “Ma” Karn, age 74, of Beaverton, Michigan, passed away January 1, 2024. Betty was born on June 8, 1949 to the late Camille and Dorothy LaViolette of Gobles, Michigan. Betty enjoyed playing cards, dominos, bingo, bird watching, and mud bogs.

She is survived by her children, Carol (Craig) Lindberg, Jerry (Lisa) Glover, William Glover Jr., and Merlitta (Ray) Witek; step-children, Sarah Karn, Elizabeth Karn, and Samuel Karn. She also leaves behind grandchildren, James Hattey, Ashley Hattey, Molly Michael, Daniel Zguro, Riley Glover, Danielle Glover, Robert Phillips, Melissa Phillips, Brooke Wiles, Charles Wiles, Aaron Letts, Alexavier Karn, Emily Calvo, and Marquis Calvo; dozens of great-grandchildren; and many friends and loved ones who thought of her as family. There will be no formal service held, instead there will be a Celebration of Life in June of 2024.
