Obituary of Sandra Miller

Sandra K. Miller (Arquette) of Bridgeport, Michigan formerly of Standish, Michigan, passed away on January 19, 2024 at the age of 66.  She was born on January 30, 1957 to the late, William Lester Blood Jr. and Shirley Ann DuBois in Bay City Michigan. 

Her husband and family were the light of her life.  She also loved cats (more than most) and would often take them into her loving home. She enjoyed her flower beds and watching the birds out her windows. She also was a lover of all animals.  Sandy really loved all kinds of music, and she loved to dance and sing karaoke. She was always the life of the party.  Many even called her Smilin’ Sandy.

She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Scott Miller; her children, Michelle (Brian) Arquette of AuGres, Nathan (Angela) Arquette of Saginaw; siblings, Kelly (George) DuBois of Gladwin, Leslie (Mark) Sierko of Standish, and William (Gina) Blood of Seminole, FL; grandchildren, Zackery (Sarah) Bouckaert of Twenty Nine Palms, CA, Andrew, Caitlyn and Kara Arquette, of Saginaw, and Trent Kneuss of AuGres; many wonderful nieces, nephews, and cousins; a godson, Jay Lumsden of Bay City; and many special friends that she claimed as “family”.  Sandy was preceded in death by her twin siblings, William Lester Blood III and Barbara Jo Blood.

Per Sandy’s request she has been cremated and her remains will be kept with her family. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 24, 2024 from 12-5 pm at the American Legion 3221 N M-76 Standish, MI  48658.  Family and friends may come to spend some time with the family between 12-1:30, from 1:30-2:30 prayers and those who will want to share memories can do so, after this family and friends will have an early dinner prepared and served.

In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions.  The family would be very thankful for any memorial contributions to the Toni and Trish House in Auburn, Michigan where Sandy resided in her final days, or to The Wishes of the Family.
