Bryce, Sandra Kay
Pinconning, Michigan
(formerly of Saginaw)
Sandra, age 75, passed away peacefully on January 21st, 2024, after a brief illness at Covenant HealthCare with her family at her side. She was born December 2, 1948, to the late John and Gwendolyn (Carrick) Wise in Saginaw. She was a woman of faith who was dedicated to the well-being of her family and community. Sandra was active in the lives of her children and grandchildren and did anything that she could to support them. She was their biggest fan, and was always there to listen, provide advice, and give a hug. Sandra also had a joyful life with her husband while they went fishing in Mancelona, gambled in Petoskey, and served their church in Pinconning.
Additionally, she and her husband were blessed to celebrate their 51st wedding anniversary on January 19, 2024. Sandra also was a long-time member of the Pinconning United Methodist Church as well as a three-decade volunteer for the Pinconning Area School District. She enjoyed meeting new people and saw value in helping others. Teachers and students knew her as "Mrs. Bryce" as she made popcorn in the Middle School and ran the book fair at the High School Library. Additionally, Sandra was a gifted event organizer and cook who participated in countless fundraising events and dinners at the church and within the community. Her soups, quiche and Swiss steak were absolutely delicious, and she prepared food for several Cabin Fever Brunches. Overall, Sandra built a legacy of sharing her time and talents to improve the welfare of others.
Surviving is her loving husband of 51 years, Frederick Bryce; two daughters, Lori (William) Mulvaney of Bay City and Sara (David) Dominguez of Midlothian, Illinois; five grandchildren, Wesley Grauherr and Logan Skrzysinski of Pinconning, AJ (Lauren Meffer) Skrzysinski of Essexville, Anna and Deacon Dominguez of Midlothian, Illinois; three siblings, Glenda Voorhees and Michael Wise of Texas and Connie (Alan) Schuler of Saginaw. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Gwendolyn Wise, and her granddaughter, Hope Dominguez.
Per Sandra's final wishes, no funeral service will be held. Instead, an intimate Celebration of Life for the immediate family will be held later in 2024. To sign online guestbook, visit www.cremationsocietymidmi.com Arrangements made with Cremation Society of Mid Michigan.
