Obituary of Anthony Claude VanPelt

Anthony Claude VanPelt, age73, of Essexville, Michigan passed away on February 7, 2024. He was born on July 26, 1950 to the late Anthony Richard and Betty (Vaughn) VanPelt. He was a lifetime member of the Eagles Club and the PLAV. He enjoyed playing darts, softball, watching Nascar, and camping. He especially enjoyed spending his time with his special furry friend “Sheba”.

 He is survived by four siblings, brothers, Keith (Kathy) VanPelt and Gale VanPelt; sisters, Valarie (John) Fletcher and Vicki (Charlie) Stonehouse; and brother-in-law, Alan Lamblin; and his very special friend, Beverly Cowan. He was preceded in death by a sister, Roxanne Lamblin.

Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to Toni and Trish House for the care of the terminally ill, Post Office Box 125, Auburn Michigan 48611.
