Cheryl Zimmerman of Ashley, Michigan went to sleep in Jesus on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 9 pm. Cheryl May Stringham was born to Nelson and Lucy (Trumble) Stringham on May 5, 1947, at The Memorial Hospital in Owosso, MI at 8:38 pm. She lived on the family farm on Mason Rd. in Ovid, MI. with her 4 siblings Darius (deceased), Audrene (deceased), Karen (deceased), and Orlin (Living). Cheryl met her husband, Terry while working in food service at Hinsdale Hospital in Hinsdale, IL. They were married in Bellevue, MI on June 4, 1972. A year later, they welcomed their first son Jason. From that time on she became a full-time mother with Glen and Kevin born in the years to come. 

Cheryl was an avid gardener. Who enjoyed cooking and preserving the produce she grew.  She loved to make a variety of crafts from hats to quilts. Cheryl was a faithful Christian and active member of the Seventh-day Adventist church. She had a soft spot in her heart for all animals but especially enjoyed her cats Ginger, Charlie, and Sam (all surviving)

 

She will be missed by her husband Terry, and her sons and their families Jason; Glen (Sarah), and boys Christian and Shawn; Kevin (Amber) and boys Lincoln and Enoch. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 4 pm at the Ithaca Seventh-day Adventist Church 935 N.
