Obituary of Charles Francis Gregory, Jr.

Charles Francis Gregory Jr. “Chuck”, of Hemlock Michigan, passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family, on February 18, 2024, at the age of 65. Charles was born on June 10, 1958 in Saginaw Michigan, to the late Charles F. Gregory Sr. and the late Hilda S. (Chiasson) Gregory.

Charles was a pillar in the Hemlock community. He was involved with the school coaching wrestling, and soccer. He enjoyed wood working and was a talented carpenter. One of his hobbies he enjoyed the most was building RC Cars and taking them out on the track with his wife and friends.

Charles was a beloved husband, son, brother, father, and grandfather. He was a man who lived for his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife Tammy S. (Dwenger) Gregory, son Corey Dwenger, and fiancé Cassi Naylor, his adored grandchildren Nevaeh Dwenger, Kori Dwenger, Sawyer Stebner, and Myles Chaffin, his siblings and their spouses Ann (Gregory) and Jack Miller, Liz (Gregory) and Mike Nowak, Kevin and Katy Gregory, and Terry and Robyn Gregory, and his brother and sisters-in-law Earl and Rose Denter, Chuck and Shirley Litvin, Mark and Margie Dwenger, Brenda Graff and Matt Newman, and brother-in-law Tim Thurston. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his very loved and spoiled dogs Loki and Thor.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his son Kyle Thomas Kobel, and a sister-in-law Jennifer Thurston, and brother-in-law Gary Graff.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2pm to 6pm on February 24, 2024, at Saginaw Field and Stream, located at 1296 N Gleaner Rd., Saginaw MI 48609. The eulogy will be held at 3pm with dinner following.
