Obituary of Karen Irene Beyerlein

Karen (Rasch) Beyerlein, age 64, died February 19, 2024 at home in Lupton, Michigan, with the singing voices of Diane and Juanita bringing her peace. Karen was born on May 26, 1959 and grew up in Long Lake, Michigan. Karen was an admired Dental Assistant in local Dentist offices. Karen was known for her love of baking, cake decorating, quilting, euchre, and fishing. Her children and grandchildren brought joy to her heart! Karen loved spending time with family, loved the beach, and especially loved combining the two by vacationing in Aruba with Bob, Kirk, and Diane. Karen was an active member at Lupton Friends Church where she was also an Elder of Spiritual Life. Karen’s daughter Jessi, Ascension Home Care, and friends from church were angels in her care the last 2 years of her life on earth.
Karen is survived by her loving husband, Bob Beyerlein; her children, Chris (Linda) Short of Lupton, Jessi (Chris) Hendrix of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Michael (Amanda) Short of Rose City and Robert (Kristi) Beyerlein of Indiana; grandchildren, Jasmine, Kase, Kole, Laney, Stratin, Ray, Eden, Shiloh, Alina, and Braelee; brothers, Raymond (Marie) Rasch and Kirk (Diane) Rasch; in-laws, Kathy (Bill) Curtis, Bill (Karen) Beyerlein, Diane (Allen) Philbrick, Judy Bernard, Sandy Buck, and Rhonda (John) Copeland; and Karen’s beloved pets, Zeke, Zelda and SinBad. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Maxine Rasch; grandson, Devon Hendrix; and brothers-in-law, Randy Buck and Bob Bernard.
A Celebration of Karen’s Life will be held at the Rose Township Hall, 3380 Lupton Road, Lupton, MI on Sunday, May 26, 2024 from 12:30 pm - 4 pm. A Remembrance Service will take place at 1:00pm at the Rose Township Hall. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the family or Lupton Friends Church in Lupton, Michigan.
