Paul Patrick Micsak “Pops”, age 78 of Ithaca, Michigan passed away March 31, 2024.  He was born in Merrill Michigan on March 17, 1946 to Andrew and Anna (Menyhert) Micsak. He was one of nine children, and loved sports. In his youth, he played in high school and college. As he aged, he had to make do with watching sports– which he did with gusto. His two favorite teams were the Detroit Lions and the Detroit Tigers.

His passion in life was dealing in antiques. He was well known in the Mid-Michigan area for his zeal and expertise. He enjoyed buying rare hard to find items. His favorite saying was, “buy the best – leave the rest.” He was very proud of the antique business he helped build in Midland.

He is survived by his sister, Mary (Paul) Hopkins; brother, Dan (Rita) Micsak; and sons, Derrick Polash, Justin Micsak, and Kyle Micsak. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pamela (Polash); and his siblings, Edward Micsak, Andrew Micsak, Margaret Zabarcki, John Micsak, Stephen Micsak, and Barbara Kracenbrink.
