While growing up she had a passion for horses and was a member of Chippewa Trail Riders 4-H group. She competed and became a proficient barrel racer. She had a great love for animals of all kinds. As a youth rescued animals wild and tame. This continued into her adult life. She was never without a pet. She worked briefly with Michigan Standard Poodle Rescue. She also had a love for her family and hosted many gatherings at her home.

She was preceded in death by her father Gerald, her mother Mary, brother Lloyd Fauble, sister Gail Boehm and grandson Justin Parsons.
