Obituary of Scott E. Woodward
Please share a memory of Scott to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Scott Woodward, affectionately known as “Woody” from Lapeer, Michigan, was born on March 13, 1974, and peacefully passed away on May 6, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones, after bravely battling heart disease. While his love for Jesus was immense, his passion for riding his Harley was equally strong, and there's no doubt he's now enjoying both in Heaven. He was a man who loved the outdoors, with hobbies like hunting and fishing. His absence leaves a void as he touched the lives of all who knew him with his love and unwavering loyalty.
He is survived by his cherished wife and best friend, Amber Weber; devoted mother, Janet (Burrough) Woodward; brother, Mel (Rachel) Woodward; sisters, Lauren (Tom) Sharpe, and Wendy (Ray Anthony) Woodward; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews. Although he didn't have biological children, Scott was a father figure to many, especially to Amber’s five children, Makala, Nathyn, Madilyn, Shayden, and Gavin; and bonus children, Shatana and Jacob. He was preceded in death by his father, Luther "Butch" Woodward; aunts, Wanda and Marilyn; uncle, Ernie; his grandparents; and his beloved dog, Zoey.
His message to all would be to seize each moment and live life to the fullest, for tomorrow is never promised. To sign online guestbook, visit www.cremationsocietymidmi.com Arrangements made with the Cremation Society of Mid Michigan.
