Obituary of Dennis Lee Fox

Dennis L. Fox, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle passed away with family by his side on May 12, 2024, at age 81. He was a resident of Mayville, MI for more than 55 years. He was the son of Elgin and Marion Fox and graduated from Centerline High School in 1960, before proudly serving in the United States Navy. Following his military service, Dennis worked as a millwright for Ford Motor Company, retiring in 2000. During his retirement, Dennis found his passion, designing cupolas which he built and sold through his company, Classic Cupolas. His meticulous craftsmanship can be found all around Michigan, including on Mackinac Island. Dennis was a proud member of the Freemasons where he attained the distinguished rank of a 32nd Degree Mason in the Scottish Rite. 

Dennis is survived by his children Sandi Morgan, Carol Rhodes (Scott), Dennis E. Fox, brother James (Nancy) Fox, grandchildren Cameron Morgan, Clarissa Morgan, Addison Rhodes, Cole Rhodes, and Chloe Fox, and several nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Irene, parents Elgin and Marion, sister Delores and brother Garrol. 

Dennis’ legacy of hard work, service and craftsmanship will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
