Dianna passed away June 23,2024 surrounded by family.  She was born December 15, 1945 in Ann Arbor Michigan to the late Edward Wilson “Bill” Carpenter and Joyce Irene Knaggs.

She was retired from the Freeland School District, and enjoyed spending time at her cabin up north, traveling, sitting by her back porch watching her birds and wildlife, and any gathering that included friends and family.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Ward; son, Paul Thomas Ward., Jr. (Michelle); grandchildren, Josh Ward (Taylor), Zach Ward (Emily), and Mariah Snyder (Nate); soon to be great-granddaughter, Lucy Snyder; siblings, Anne Carpenter and Steve Carpenter; brother-in-law, Randy Ward (Kathy); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be scheduled for later this summer.
