Obituary of James Michael Wilkinson

James M. “Jim” Wilkinson of Bridgeport, Michigan, formerly of Burt, passed away on July 5, 2024 at his home, after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was born on July 10, 1950 to the late Robert and Fayetta (Dorey) Wilkinson.  He was a faithful and valued member of Saginaw Valley United Pentecostal Church.  He enjoyed most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren.  His hobbies included were woodworking, dune buggies at Silver Lake Sand Dunes, and riding his Gold Wing motorcycle.  He is survived by Donna, his wife of 53 years; his children, Jeff (Jessica), Shelly (Michael Leach), and James Jr. (Nora); six grandchildren, Joshua, Jaylynn, Amaraya, Mason, Jon, and Madison; siblings, Robert Wilkinson, Judy Pastiva, George Wilkinson, Ruth Kruska, and Mary Walton. 

Funeral Service will be held at Saginaw Valley United Pentecostal Church 7877 Bell Rd., Birch Run, Michigan 48415, on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at 5:00 P.M. Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.
