Obituary of Kimberly Ann Vargas

Kimberly Vargas, age 62, of Midland, Michigan, passed away at MyMichigan Hospital after a period of health challenges. She was born in Saginaw on November 21, 1961, to Sandra Kay (Mendoza) and Richard Edward Vargas, who have both preceded her in death.  Kim is survived by her daughter, Rachel (Andy) Austin of Caledonia.

Kim will be remembered for her love of cooking, especially her tamales, and her love for animals. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private scattering of her ashes will occur. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the care team at MyMichigan Hospital for their compassion and support. Those wishing to honor Kim’s memory are encouraged to make a donation to MyMichigan Hospital or the ASPCA, reflecting her love and compassion for animals.
