Obituary of Matthew Roy Keipinger

Matthew Roy Keipinger, age57, passed away after a long battle with COPD on August 5, 2024. He was born in Bay City to Barbara (Mahar) and Allan Keipinger on December 16, 1966. Matthew loved fishing, hunting and was an avid fan of The University of Michigan.

Matthew is survived by his sisters, Patricia (Tony) Escamilla and Lori Hansen of Bay City; brother, Gerald (Tonya) Keipinger of Forest Grove OR; nephews Christopher and Ryan Starr, Jordan Keipinger and Landon Starr. Matthew was predeceased by his parents, Barbara and Allan Keipinger; brother, Ralph Keipinger; brothers-in-law, Robert Starr and Roy Zielinski; and nephew, Justin Starr.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM, Friday August 9, 2024, at Riverwalk Community Church, 706 Joseph Street, Bay City, with Pastor Steve Roe officiating. The family will receive friends at church prior to the service from 10:30 AM – 11 AM.
