Joe, age 87, died on Friday August 16, 2024.  Joe was born in Bay County on December 31, 1936 to the late Fred and Cecelia (Corrion) Shillair.  He married the love of his life the former Marian LaBrenz on June 18, 1960 in Munger.  Joseph was a farmer, he also worked as a welder retiring from Gray Iron Foundry.  Joe is survived by his wife of 64 years Marian, and their daughter Debra Divo of Munger.  Also surviving are his 5 grandchildren, Shawna Walraven, Sondra (Brian) Kern, Jordan (Mikki) Divo, Damian (Brooke) Divo and Sarah (Justin) Achenbach, and 9 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his son Ronald in 1996.  A memorial service will be held at 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday August 21, 2024 at the Hyatt-Ewald Funeral Home, 700 N. Monroe Street, Bay City.  Reverend Jimmy Riley will officiate.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home, on Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to Trinity St. James Lutheran Church, Munger, Michigan.  To sign online guestbook visit  www.cremationsocietymidmi.com
