Lewinski, James Edward “Jim”

Bay City, Michigan

Jim, age 83, passed away August 28, 2024. He was born September 7, 1940 to the late Edward and Josephine (Yascolt) Lewinski in Detroit Michigan.  When he was young, his family moved to Pinconning, Michigan. He graduated from Pinconning High School in 1958 and immediately joined the Navy where he served on the aircraft carrier USS Randolph for 4 years.

Jim worked as a car salesman for many years, and then drove for the Bay Metropolitan Transportation Authority. He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also was a season ticket holder to The Players Club where he held a front row seat to the many plays he attended.

Surviving are his son, Brad (Sherry) Lewinski; daughter, Lisa (Tom) Myers; and sister, Sandra (Dennis) Foco. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Trevor (Katie) Lewinski and Taylor (Michael Fortier) Lewinski; and great-grandchildren, Wade and Zoey Lewinski, and Charisma Gray.  He was predeceased by his parents; grandson, Matthew Gray; and great-grandson, Jasper Gray.
