Obituary of Patricia Anne Stamm
Patricia Anne Stamm
West Branch, MI
(previously of Plymouth, MI)
Patricia passed away Saturday August 31, 2024. She was born on July 21, 1946 in Sharon, North Dakota to the late Arlene Huso of Sherbrooke, North Dakota.
Pat grew up on her grandparent’s farm in Sherbrooke, North Dakota. There she attended Sunday School and graduated from high school. Time spent there was filled with lots of cousins to play with and extended family to visit with, singing around the piano, grandparents and her mother who loved and spoiled her, memories filled with homemade bread baked by her grandmother and mother and traditional lefse cooked honoring the family’s Norwegian heritage.
Pat was a long time UAW member and was retired from Ford Motor Company. She enjoyed her cats very much and supported many animal charities and animal shelters. She loved participating in car shows with her late husband and going to craft shows around her town as well. She was an avid collector of jewelry and loved her antiques from her childhood farmhouse which she proudly displayed in her home. She loved and owned several mustangs through the years as well. After retiring, she lived with her late husband for several years in a house built overlooking the Rifle River. She enjoyed sitting on the porch viewing the river and drinking iced tea, along with seeing the many animals in the forest at the property.
She was married to her husband of 37 years, Clarence Leslie Stamm prior to his death in 2015.
She is survived by her step-children, Angela Hayworth and Jennifer (Dan) Dillon; honorary children, Beth Ring and Ina Ring; grandchildren, Andrew (Benton) Fletcher, Caleb (Francine) Hayworth, Adam Hayworth, Samuel Dillon, Lily (Xavier) Dillon, Luke Dillon, Cole Dillon and Sophia Dillon; honorary grandchildren, Marina Chevez Ring and Kaitlyn Chevez Ring; great-grandchildren, Layla Hayworth and Avery Fletcher.
A memorial service will be held in the coming weeks along the Rifle River in West Branch, MI at the property where Pat and her late husband lived and enjoyed for many years. To sign online guestbook, visit www.cremationsocietymidmi.com Arrangements made with the Cremation Society of Mid Michigan.
