Obituary of Russell Chester Pasnik

Russell “Russ” C. Pasnik, age 51 of Saginaw, Michigan passed away at home Monday, September 16, 2024. He was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan on July 7, 1973 to the late Leo Pasnik & Judith Utpadel (Petrie). Russ graduated from Whittemore-Prescott High School, and then went on to become an appliance repairman. He enjoyed listening to music, playing guitar, hunting, and fishing. He loved to make people laugh.

Russ is survived by his three daughters, Courtney Pasnik (Michael Braun) of Saginaw, MI, Paige Pasnik (Austin Williams) of National City, MI, and Abby Pasnik (Kyle Hottois); his five grandchildren, Quentin Braun, Parker Braun, Aida Mick, Mercy Mick, and Waylen Hottois; his brother, Lucas (Margaret) Pasnik; and sister, Lori (Eric) Adams. In addition to his parents, Russell was preceded in death by his 2nd father, Eugene Utpadel; brother, Leo Pasnik; and sister-in-law, Sharon Pasnik.

A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends, Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 1pm - 3pm, at his daughter’s home, 2870 Tatham Rd. Saginaw, MI 48601.
