Obituary of William Ernest Whiteford

William E. " Bill" Whiteford, age 78, of Vassar, Michigan, passed away September 29, 2024 at Covenant Hospital – Harrison, Saginaw, Michigan.  He was born November 6, 1945 on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.  Bill was a loving father and grandfather.  He retired from Hudson's after a career of over 40 years.  He was an avid outdoorsman, and hunting, fishing, and playing euchre were some of his favorite activities. He was also a proud member and past president of The Fraternal Order of Eagles in Tuscola County. 

He is survived by his children, William "Tex" (Cheryl) Whiteford, Scott Whiteford, Cherilyn Ellis, and Melanie (George) Johnston; and many grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Bernice; his sister, Bonnie Fenton; and his son, Christopher Whiteford.
