Obituary of Angela Sapp

Angela “Angie” Sapp, age 53, of Rose City Michigan, passed away Sunday October 13, 2024 after a short illness with family by her side. Angie was born September 4, 1971 to the late Lawrence “Larry” and Janet “Jan” Sapp.

She greatly enjoyed her extended video calls with her granddaughter GraceLynn over the years. She loved trail riding, morel mushroom picking, chatting with friends and family, bowling, and being a caregiver of patients through AuSable Valley of Ogemaw County and surrounding areas.

She is survived by her daughter, Janice (Cory Mahl) Sapp of Williston N.D.; bonus son, David Thomas Jr. of Saginaw MI; bonus daughter, SkyLynn Sapp of West Branch, MI; granddaughter, GraceLynn Mahl of Williston N.D.; significant other, Kevin Hamden of Rose City Michigan, and his children and grandchildren.

She was the youngest of seven children, brothers, Larry and Melissa Sapp of Rose City MI, Brian and Sabrina Sapp of Lupton MI, and Michael Sapp of Lupton MI; sister, Melody and Bill Hart of Prescott, MI; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was predeceased by Janice's father, John Kovach; siblings, Dale Sapp of West Branch, MI; sister and brother-in-law, Lora and Jimbo Christian of Mississippi.
