Charles Robert Barcia Sr. “Chuck” of Bay City, Michigan was born on December 14, 1930, and left this life on earth to be with the Lord on October 29, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at 1010 33rd St.. He served in the Air Force as a 1st Lieutenant during the Korean war. Chuck loved to travel. He was very active in sports; he was into bowling, golf and played softball and blooper ball well into his mid 60's. He enjoyed a beer. Chuck was happy -go- lucky, he loved to tease and would always be singing or whistling. His motto was "Always be loving and kind" Chuck meant a lot to a lot of people, he was a favorite in the nursing home. Chuck was married to his bride Helen of 70 years.

He is survived by his wife, Helen (Schultz); his children, Renee Simmons (Earl the big guy) Chuck Jr. (Robbie); grandchildren, Jenae Branham (Kurtis) Cameron Boettcher (Danielle) Chuck III (Julie) Christian (Shannon); sister-in-law, Fay Barcia; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his mother, Selma Pegg; brother and sisters, Theron Barcia, Clara Miller (Art) Edith Pake (Art) Shirley Zimmerman (Joe); nephew, Bob Miller; and niece, Nadell Renaud.

Chuck will be truly missed by all who knew him. No funeral services are planned at this time. Memorial contributions can be sent to Trinity Lutheran Church, 1010 33rd St., Bay City, Michigan.
