Geraldine “Geri” Bullis

Bay City, Michigan

December 21, 1931 – November 16, 2024

Geri "GG" Bullis, age 92, completed her earthly life's journey and took her first breath and step into heaven on November 16, 2024. Geri graduated salutatorian from St. Joseph's High School, then married her soul-mate (whom she met on a blind date) Jack in 1950. Together they became the proprietors of Bay Lanes (Bay City) and Bavarian Bowl (Frankenmuth). She was a competitive bowler, golfer and loved playing friendly tennis matches with friends. She attributed her physical agility and health to her 62 years of morning Iyengar Yoga workouts. She found peace and comfort by regularly attending mass at St. Catherine of Siena in Bay City.

Geri was preceded in death by her husband Jack; son, Randy; daughter, Lori Gilmour; and her mother, Helen Posluszny. She is survived by her three daughters, Terrie (Bob) Rosenberg, Cyndy (Randy) Evans, and Cathy (Bruce) VanBlarcom; son-in-law, Tim Gilmour; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her sister, Ginny Bowler.

Geri’s grace, kindness, and positive attitude influenced the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered as a woman of quiet strength who embraced life with dignity and a true passion for living. Just as her husband Jack was considered a “gentlemen's gentleman”, Geri will be remembered as a “lady amongst ladies”.
