Obituary of Steven Louis Ayotte

Steven Louis Ayotte was born in Flint, Michigan on October 24, 1957. He passed away on November 15, 2024 at his home in Bridgeport, Michigan. He was the son of the late Richard and Dorothy (Carley) Ayotte. Steve graduated from Flint Northern High School. He was an avid music lover. He played clarinet in the Flint Junior Symphony Orchestra even made 2 albums. He was a self-taught drummer and played in a band called Straight Edge. He worked at an alarm company called Sonitrol for many years before becoming a skilled trades electrician through an apprenticeship at AC Spark Plugs. Before retiring he had an electrical business Electrical Systems and Solutions. He could fix about anything and helped many family and friends. He also was an awesome cook! He was truly loved by many and he probably never even realized it and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Denise Ayotte, but was with 31 years also surviving are his son, Austin Ayotte; grandchildren, Paisley, Makenna and Brantley; his mother- in-law, Sherry Czapp; sister-in-law, Danielle Gedraitis (Jeff Dunbar); nieces, Alyvia and Bristol; step-brother, Brian White; step-sister, Laurie Powell; special niece and nephew, Heather (Matt); great-nephews, Graham and Gavin Zielke; and many other extended family. He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Dorothy (Carley) Ayotte; step-mother, Marjorie Ayotte; step-sister, Karen White; father-in-law, Richard Czapp; and both sets of grandparents (Carleys and the Ayottes). There are no plans for a memorial service at this time, but will plan a service for the summer of 2025.
