Ronald Alan Morse, Jr. of Bay City, Michigan, age 36, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, with his parents by his side. RJ, as he was known to his family and friends, was born on February 12, 1988, and was the son of Kathleen Marie and Ronald Alan Morse, Sr. As a youth, RJ enjoyed hanging out with his friends, riding his bike, rollerblading, skateboarding, swimming, snowboarding, playing baseball, basketball, football, street hockey, boxing and golf, to name a few. He was constantly looking for new things to try. As a young man, he also became an avid and accomplished disc golfer. RJ was a hard worker who never backed away from a challenge. He held many different positions in various industries with his favorites being management roles in warehousing, production and product development. He enjoyed seeing the fruits of his labor have a positive impact on the employees he worked with and the companies he worked for. RJ was a soft spoken, intelligent, thoughtful, caring, creative, inquisitive, loving, adventurous soul who enjoyed reading, photography, drawing, learning new things, researching new topics and sharing knowledge. He always enjoyed a good conversation. He also loved animals, especially family members Scooter, Lola, Charlee, Remus, Hermes and Hecate. RJ had a deep, unwavering love for his family – especially his grandparents Ronald E. and Rose M. Morse, Walter and Loraine Markey, his parents and his sisters Kristena (Jesse) Hubbard and Kelsey Morse. His passing has left a void in their lives that can never be filled, but his spirit will live on in their hearts. He will always be with them and will never be forgotten.
In addition to his parents, RJ leaves behind many loved ones to cherish his memory including his sisters and brother-in-law, Jesse Hubbard; grandmother, Loraine Markey; aunts and uncles, Randy (Carol) Morse, Rob (Corey) Morse, Rachelle (Joe) Schuman, Joe (Maria) Markey, Mary Beth (Brian) Leach, and Richard Markey; along with numerous cousins and extended family. RJ was welcomed into heaven by his grandparents, Ronald E. Morse, Rose M. Morse, and Walter “Bud” Markey; along with many other family members and friends. RJ’s family wishes to thank Covenant Healthcare for their wonderful care and support. Cremation has taken place, and a private family Celebration of Life will take place at a future date.
