Obituary of William Anderson

William “Bill” Frank Anderson passed away Monday, December 23, 2024 at age 59 following a nine-month battle with cancer. The son of the late Gerald R. Anderson and Esther M. (Talik) Anderson, Bill was born on December 30, 1964 in Saginaw, Michigan.

Bill married the former Jane M. Wade on October 12, 1985 and she survives him. Bill took great pride in his yard, whether it was cultivating enormous hostas, beautiful rose bushes, or meticulously placing thousands of twinkling lights for the holidays. He was also an avid M&M aficionado. His collection of the colorful characters was all encompassing.

Surviving besides his wife, Jane are a daughter and son: Jessica (Matthew) Meyer, Pinconning, and Justin (Kimberly) Anderson, Saginaw; one grandson Harrison J. Meyer, with another on the way. Also surviving Bill are a brother Gerald (Lance Stone) Anderson, sisters Amber (Michelle Graifemberg) Anderson and Susan (Kristin Wiginton) Anderson, mother-in- law Carol Wade, and sister-in-law Judy Napierala.

Honoring Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will be held. The family would like to thank the Cremation Society of Mid Michigan for their kindness and great care in the final arrangements for Bill.
