Obituary of Linda Susan Hoffman

Linda Susan Hoffman, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away December 25, 2024, at the age of 75 in Hemlock, Michigan. She was born on October 14, 1949, to Edward and Josephine Huff in Omer, Michigan, Linda's life was a testament to her generous spirit and warm heart.

Linda was the cherished wife of the late Jack Hoffman II and a loving mother to Jack Hoffman III and Jeffrey Hoffman. Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren, Lucas and Caleb Hoffman, children of Jack III, and Emily and Evan Hoffman, children of Jeffrey and his wife Michelle Hoffman. Linda was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Stephanie Hoffman, her sister Mary “Gussy” Huff and her brothers Michael, Kim, and Timothy Huff.  She is survived by her caring sisters, Sharon Krukowski and Rose Houser. Her family was the cornerstone of her existence, and she nurtured each relationship with the same tenderness and dedication she gave to every aspect of her life.

Linda's passion for life was evident in her love for golf, an activity through which she not only enjoyed the sport but also cherished the camaraderie and friendships she built there. Her prowess in the kitchen was legendary among her family and friends, who frequently gathered around her table to enjoy her delicious meals. It was in these moments, surrounded by the laughter and stories of friends and loved ones, that Linda felt most at home.

Those who knew Linda will remember her for the love she so freely gave. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she was always the first to offer help to anyone in need. Kindness was her guiding principle, and it shone through in her every interaction. Her gentle demeanor and warm smile were a source of comfort to all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.

Linda's presence was a gift to the world, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her spirit, characterized by boundless love and generosity, will continue to inspire those she has left behind.
