Obituary of Patricia Jane LeBlond

Please share a memory of Patricia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Patricia J. LeBlond, affectionately known as Pat to her friends and family, was a beacon of love and kindness whose life journey began on May 14, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan, and came to a peaceful end on January 19, 2025, in West Branch, Michigan. Pat's life was a testament to the power of positivity and the strength of the human spirit. She navigated the world with grace, leaving a legacy of warmth and generosity that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Pat's early years in Detroit set the stage for a life filled with joy, family, and an unwavering commitment to her community. She was the heart of her family, a cherished wife to her husband, Honorius LeBlond, and a guiding light to her three children, Larry LeBlond, Wayne LeBlond, and Sherry (Troy) Houser. Pat's love extended to her four grandchildren, who were the apples of her eye, and to her great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and the many special extended family members and friends she held dear. Though she was predeceased by her parents and siblings, the values they instilled in her shone brightly through her actions and the way she lived her life.

Pat was a long-standing member of the Rods and Relics Car Club, where she shared her passion for classic automobiles with fellow enthusiasts for over 30 years. Her love for these timeless machines was paralleled only by the love she had for her family and friends. Pat was known for her ability to turn any gathering into a celebration of togetherness, and her presence was a source of comfort and joy to those around her. Pat loved to bake and spend time cooking in the kitchen and made each dish with love.

A devoted Catholic, Pat's faith was the cornerstone of her existence. She lived her beliefs through acts of kindness and a steadfast commitment to putting others before herself. Her thoughtful nature was evident in the way she cared for her loved ones and extended kindness to strangers alike. Pat's life was a living example of the Golden Rule, treating others as she wished to be treated, with compassion and understanding.

The words that best describe Pat—loving, kind, and thoughtful—are the very qualities that made her a pillar in her community. Her ability to listen, to empathize, and to offer a helping hand made her a cherished friend and an invaluable mentor to many. Pat's legacy is not just in the memories she leaves behind, but in the countless lives she touched with her gentle spirit and unwavering positivity.

In lieu of flowers, those considering an expression of sympathy are asked to consider donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A memorial service to honor Pat’s life will be held at a later date. To sign online guestbook, visit www.cremationsocietymidmi.com  Arrangements made with Cremation Society of Mid-Michigan.
