Robert "Bob" Meyer of Bay City, Michigan passed away surrounded by his family on January 19, 2025, after a short illness. Bob was born May 8, 1944, in Saginaw, Michigan and grew up in Freeland, Michigan. In 1966, Bob met and fell in love with his beloved wife Ginger Wampler. They married on January 21, 1967. Bob is survived by two children, Rob Meyer (Donna) of Merritt Island, FL and Cathi (Steve) Snodgrass, of Dyersburg, TN, sister Patty Savage of Freeland, Michigan, brother James Meyer (Dawn) of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Sister-in law, Lori Meyer of Memphis, Tennessee, nephews; Jay Savage, Jared, Curtis, Nathan, and Wes Meyer and Nick Spangenberg. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Ginger, best dog buddy Max, Father Don F. Meyer, Mother Betty Meyer, stepmother Katie Meyer, brother Jack Meyer and brother-in-law Jerry Savage. Bob served in the US Navy during Vietnam. After returning from service, he joined the family business, Don F. Meyer Company (an International Harvester Equipment Dealer), in Freeland, Michigan. Bob enjoyed die cast cars and tractors, building model cars, watching Nascar and Detroit Lions football. Honoring Bob's wishes, cremation has already taken place and a military service will be performed at the Holly, Michigan Veterans Cemetary this summer.
