Obituary of Joshua E. Whisman

Joshua (Wiz) passed away, September 18, 2020 in his hometown of Saginaw at the age of 42. He was born March 6, 1978 to William and Iva (Larkin) Whisman. Josh lived the majority of his life in the Saginaw-Bay area, but also resided in Shreveport, Louisiana throughout his childhood. He is survived by his three children, Arianna (23), Savannah (19), and Kaleb Whisman (16); brothers, William (Trisha) Whisman, Matthew Whisman, Michael (Shelly) Tomich; sisters, Barb (John) Fitzpatrick, Jennifer Whisman, Raschelle Whisman; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends. Josh was a beloved father, coach, and friend. He enjoyed baseball, being a jokester, and spending time with his many friends. A memorial service for friends and extended family will be held at a later date. In lieu, of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Memorial Contributions to the Saginaw Golds Baseball Team or the wishes of the family.
