Obituary of Stephen D. Marr

Passed away on Nov. 6, 2014 after a lengthy illness, at home, with his family by his side. Steve was born June 18, 1952 to William Marr and Frieda Marr. He was a talented artist who painted several signs around the city and loved to do charcoal drawings and oil paintings. He also did carpentry and remodeling. He loved playing his guitar and hanging out with his friends. He will be missed by family and many friends. He is survived by his parents, a daughter Stefani (Greg) Wilson, and sons Mathew Marr and Robert Rueda, grandchildren Cydney, Jada, and Lyric, a sister Vickie Taylor Block and a brother David (Toni) Marr, nieces Tracy Zuzula, Tammy Taylor, and Elizabeth Marr, and nephew Victor Marr, aunt Ginny Sykes and uncle Arthur Suppes and many cousins. Cremation has taken place. Services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Sheridan Rd. Baptist Church, 6911 Sheridan, Saginaw, MI 48601.
