Obituary of Larry F. Davis

Larry F. Davis, 69, of Gladwin (formerly of Otisville) passed away peacefully October 10, 2014. In his final days he was surrounded by family and friends who truly loved him. Larry retired from General Motors in 1994 after 30 years of service. During his retirements, he and his wife spent many years traveling. He was an avid coin collector and spent his winters enjoying his snowmobile. Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 27 years, Nancy (married May 9, 1987), five children-Jeff (Sandy) Davis, Tamara Ratliff, Angelia Kimmery (Eli June), Sunshine (Erick) Slaten, Jennifer (Phil) Menzies, nine loving grandchildren, sisters Patricia Griswold, Sandra (Gene) Reek and brother Warren (Shawn) Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Frieda Davis, brother-in-law James Griswold, niece Sherene Harper and dear friend Craig Middleton. Per Larry's request, he will be cremated with no funeral or memorial services held. The family would like to thank the many visitors, both family and friends, who let him know just how loved he was while still with us. To the staff at St. Mary's of Saginaw, we thank you for your care and compassion during this most difficult time for our family.
