Obituary of Rosemary A. (Lamping) Howard-Padilla

Howard-Padilla (Lamping), Rosemary A. Saginaw, MI Rosemary passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at the James E. Cartwright Care Center, age 69. She was born on October 22, 1943 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Henry Leon and Goldie Pearl Weeden Tappen. Rosemary lived in Saginaw, Michigan throughout her life, where she graduated from school, worked, and married Ronald V. Lamping, had children, Robin and Rhonda, & Richard. She married Ronald D. Howard and Calixto Padilla, who predeceased her. Her favorite pastime was playing Bingo. She worshiped and loved attending church at Old Town Christian Outreach Center. She leaves to cherish her memory, three children, Robin Bruce Rutherford, Rhonda Gary Lamping of Saginaw, Michigan, Richard Debbie Howard of Cynthiana, Kentucky, grandchildren, Amanda Mike Barb, Alexander, Abriel Rutherford, Crystal, Danielle Lamping, Kya Humpfrey, 4 great-grandchildren, Madison, Jacob, Taliyah, Channing Jr.CJ. She is also survived by brothers Floyd Tappen, Leon Ruth Tappen and sisters Nancy Del Maxwell, Barbara Near with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Myrtie Prather and brother Gerrald Tappen. The family would like to thank the staff at the James E. Cartwright Care Center for their loving care and attention for Rosemary at home and during her stay. Those considering an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family. A Memorial Service will be held at 3pm on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Old Town Christian Outreach Center-Church- 600 Gratiot, Saginaw with Pastor Bill Bodnar officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 2 PM until service time.
