Obituary of Lee Charles Scribner
Lee Charles Scribner age 47 passed away on January 25, 2015 at St. Mary's of Michigan Hospital peacefully with his family by his side. Lee was born February 13, 1967 in Saginaw to Sidney and Diane Scribner, the youngest of six children. Lee graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School and then Bayshire Beauty Academy, earning his state cosmetology license. After working at various local salons, Lee opened his own successful salon, Image Designs. Lee was a very talented Master Stylist and highly respected in the community, having served his clientele for 24 years until he became disabled in 2010. Lee was also an amazing organ player since childhood.
Lee is survived by one sister and four brothers: Deborah (Mark) Williams, Randall Burt, Darrell (Wendy) Scribner, Scott (Trecia) Scribner, Steven Scribner, many nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as lifelong friend Shon Kelly, And his beloved Shih Tzu Marley.
Lee had a charismatic personality, was funny and kind hearted. He was notorious for being fashionably late, but was always fashionable none the less. Lee lit up a room with his humor and big bright smile and was truly loved by all who knew him. Lee will always be remembered for his infectious laughter as well as his extremely kind and generous heart.
Lee was predeceased by his parents Sidney and Diane Scribner, his life partner and soul mate Ronald Pines, two aunts Dorothy Eurick and Beverly Praay.
The family would like to give special thanks to the wonderful ER and 6th floor ICU staff at St. Mary's of Michigan Hospital and Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center, as well as friend Jerry Doebler and Nephew Randall Burt II.
