Obituary of Scott R. Erickson

Erickson, Scott, R. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Erickson, age 57, died Tuesday March 10, 2015. Scott was born in Flint, Michigan on September 22, 1957 to the late Arthur and Barbara (Entrekin) Erickson. Scott was a 1976 graduate of Flushing High School. He was a proud member of the NRA, UAW Local #326, and loved to hunt and fish, but most of all spending time at his cabin in northern Michigan. Scott retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Mr. Erickson is survived by his wife Mary, 4 daughters; Emily of Chicago, April (Chad) of South Carolina, Erica (Stefan) Bitzer of Bay City and Holly Tacey of Unionville. Also surviving are 2 grandsons; Landon & Jaxon, sisters and brothers; Mary (Tom) Stewart of Florida, Jeannie Sibis of Alabama, Jeff (Shawnna) Erickson, Rick (Rhonda) Erickson, Andrea (Bob) Sullenger all of Michigan and Diane (Cos) Amato of Australia and many nieces and nephews. A Life celebration service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday March 19, 2015 at Riverwalk Baptist Church, 706 Joseph Street, Bay City. Pastor Steve Roe will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
