Obituary of Daniel "Dano" Michael Jorgensen

Jorgensen, Daniel Michael "Dano" Houghton Lake, MI Daniel Michael Jorgensen, "Dano", age 58, died peacefully at home with his mother and sister by his side on March 27, 2015 in Houghton Lake MI. He will be reunited with his dad, Charles R. Jorgensen and his son Eric Allen Bolton. He was born on December 9, 1956 in Detroit Michigan. Dano lived in the Detroit area for 30 years, then moved to Sarasota Florida for 21 years. His last 7 years, Dano lived in the Roscommon Michigan area. Dano proudly served in the US Navy aboard the USS Saratoga. Dano will be especially remembered for his spirit of laughter and as an amazing pool player. Dano is survived by his son, John Michael Bolton of Spring City TN; his daughter, Jamie Lee Hodges; grandchildren, Eric Allen, Karmya Lynn, Taylor Mackenzie, and Kalyea J' Cheryl Hodges; his mother, Nancy E. Jorgensen of Lutz FL; sisters, Shirley Dougherty of Houghton Lake MI & Jennifer J. Prall of Lutz FL; and his brother Douglas C. Jorgensen of Commerce Township MI. At Dano's reqauest no services will be held. Dano and his family are forever grateful for the support and acts of kindness from Pastor David Rice and Rev. James N. Kent of Markey Baptist Church, Roscommon MI.
